The dates for Download 2009 have been announced.
The event will return to Donington Park for the weekend of June 12-14.
Some changes to the site layout are to be made, primarily because of the F1 Grand Prix which heads to the same venue later in the summer.
The Download Fan Forum recently met, with feedback including favourable feedback for a varied line up (where acts such as Pendulum were considered a success).

No line up news is known yet for Download 2009, however the strong rumour is for a Metallica appearance, fueled by a gap in their European tour schedule for the Download weekend.
