The line up has been announced for Reading and Leeds.

Kings of Leon, who have played countless major UK shows in the past couple of years, make their return to Reading on the Friday night (August 28) and headline Leeds on the closing evening (Sunday August 30).

Radiohead played Leeds on Saturday, closing Reading on the Sunday.

They join the already announced bill topper Arctic Monkeys.

The rest of the acts so far announced are:

Kings of Leon day on the Main Stage features Kaiser Chiefs, Placebo, Fall Out Boy, Deftones and Funeral For A Friend.

Joining Arctic Monkeys are The Prodigy, Maximo Park, Ian Brown, The Courteeners, Enter Shikari and Eagles Of Death Metal.

Playing with Radiohead are Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend and Brand New.

At Leeds on the Friday, Reading on Saturday, co-headlining the Radio 1/NME Stage are Gossip and Glasvegas. Also playing that stage over the weekend are Gallows, Gaslight Anthem, AFI, Jamie T, White Lies, Friendly Fires, The Maccabees and Florence & The Machine.

The festivals happen over the weekend of August 28-30.

Tickets went on sale at 7 PM March 30.
