Uncut magazine has announced the nominees for this year's Uncut Music Award. The award is in its second year and celebrates the most inspiring album of the year.
The eight finalists have been chosen for their music alone, and the panel judging them are last year’s winner, Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes; Uncut editor Allan Jones; Billy Bragg and Rachel Unthank; broadcasters Mark Radcliffe, Christian O’Connell, Danny Kelly and Bob Harris; BBC Head Of Music Entertainment Mark Cooper; Stiff founder Dave Robinson; and Tony Wadsworth, chair of the BPI.
