Arcade Fire will headline this year’s Oxegen Festival.
Today’s announcement has fuelled rumours that the Canadian band could also appear at other European festivals this summer.
The band will join Fatboy Slim, Eminem, Hot Chip and Rise Against amongst others on the bill.

Oxegen 2010 takes place at Punchestown Racecourse outside Dublin between July 8 and 11. Tickets for the festival fo on sale Friday March 10 at 9am.
