Original space rockers Hawkwind have recently announced that they will be returning to Australia in March 2011. After over 40 years in the business and still producing innovative and groundbreaking music, the band will be appearing across the country, including the renowned Golden Plains festival. They have also announced that they will also be performing at the 3 day Hellfest festival in France.
Don't worry, you don't have to start saving for the plane fare as you can catch them a little closer to home. They are just about to kick off their December UK tour at The Picturedrome, Holmfirth on 3rd December and finishing off at The HMV Forum in London on the 17th. They will be more than ably supported by the irrepressible Jokers throughout their UK dates.
