Jenny Conlee, the keyboard player in The Decemberists, has beaten breast cancer.
Speaking on his Twitter page, the band's frontman Colin Meloy tweeted: "For those of you wondering, saw Jenny this week; our girl's officially in remission! #teamjenny #beyondchemodrome"
Conlee was diagnosed with the illness in May.
It is thought that the band will take a least a year off touring in the near future.
