Roadrunner Records, home to Slipknot, Megadeth and Korn, are set to shut their UK offices in the coming weeks.

Following its sale to the Warner Music Group 17 months ago, the label's founder CEO Cees Wessel will leave the company, with around 36 staff being made redundant worldwide.

The label, which has been in operation since 1980, will see offices in Germany, Australia and Canada close also.

Other Roadrunner artists include Killswitch Engage, Machine Head, Stone Sour, Steve Miller Band, Nickelback, Trivium, Underoath, Rush, Kids In Glass Houses and Juliette Lewis.

It is expected that the label will continue in a smaller form and run from the US.
