Lou Reed has just been confirmed as one of the artists for the Meltdown Festival of London's Southbank Centre.
Reed will perform an exclusive London concert at the Royal Festival Hall on Friday 10th August. Tickets will go on sale to Southbank members at 10am on Tuesday 29th May and on general sale at 10am on Thursday 31st May, being priced from £45.
The festival itself will take place between 1st and 12th August and will feature various shows at various venues in London's Southbank centre. Other announcements that have been made include Joan As Policewoman and Julia Kent.
