The digital music store, HearJapan, which was started in 2007 as a site dedicated to downloading Japanese music, has unfortunately announced that it will close on 30th June 2012 unless a buyer is found.
Hear Japan has been hit hard by costs from a site update and relaunch in February from which it has been unable to recover and it now looks likely that it will be forced to close down on 30th June - users will still be able to make purchases and download music until that date.
