New music champions Emerging Icons have released their album 'Emerging Icons In The Park' with the support of some well known faces.

A twenty-two track collective of talent from emergingicons.com, it is the latest venture supporting unsigned and underground artists as they graft their way to prominence- offering them credible exposure, opportunities and industry feedback.

This second release from the site is a keepsake from their time in the Olympic Park this summer- where they were able to offer a stage for fifty of the new acts they discovered online. All of the featured artists are singer-songwriters and perform original music- something that the team at Emerging Icons hope to promote as 'an antidote to the negative impact of the reality TV machine!'

Established artists and famous figures such as The Kinks' Dave Davies, pop sensation MIKA, 'Bad Day' superstar Daniel Powter and Olympian gymnast Louis Smith have all given their feedback on the album tracks and the line-up of acts- which includes Liz Lawrence, Elissa Franceschi, Longfellow, The Stowaways and Gentleman Starkey. The album is available for download on iTunes now.

There has also been a five-date tour announced which features two of the album artists; alternative Brighton band Annaca and carnival rock n' roll group Tankus The Henge. Tickets are available now.
