Chicago rockers Madina Lake have announced that their time as a band has come to an end.
The Chicagoans have interesting beginnings as twin brothers Matthew and Nathan Leone participated in a special edition of the TV show Fear Factor to raise funds to release a self-produce debut EP; The Disappearance of Adalia.
A debut album quickly followed, and Madina Lake went on to win Best International New Comer at the Kerrang! Awards, and became a favourite with fans and their peers.
Sadly in 2010, Mathew suffered multiple injuries including a fractured skull, broken jaw and a swollen brain after intervening in a domestic violence incident involving a man beating his wife, leading to him undergoing brain surgery twice.
After a successful eight years in the music industry Matthew, Nathan, Dan Torelli and Mateo Camargo have announced that they would be embarking on a farewell tour of the UK and Ireland starting on September 29th in Coventry and finishing with a final show in London on October 24th.
