Causing a scene!

I’m not really sure what you could possibly expect from a guy that is trained on piano and saxophone to Grade 8 level, has performed in the National Youth Wind and Jazz Orchestra of Wales, has also played for half-pipers OPM on their UK tour, and has supported the likes of, Ash, Sonic Boom Six and [Spunge], to name but a few? I have to admit this was not it…

Aside from the above, Aaron, whom was born in New Zealand and grew up in both Bangor, Wales and Switzerland and now resides in York, could also be deemed a show off for also being able to play the flute, oboe, French horn and now guitar. However, ‘The Scene’ has a cheeky cockney charm about it which you don’t see coming. With a nice guitar loop, and a solid drum beat, Aaron’s delivery is sincere and has a naïve charm to it that can be related to. The realistic lyrics have an observatory humour of deliberate clichés that is not forced and coupled with the music comes together well. At one point Aaron sings that , “This is the scene for you // if you don’t like music”, which is ironic, as if you really do like music then you will love this.

I won’t go into this song too much more as you should really hear it yourself. This is a great song from a very talented guy. Great stuff!!
