Free Birds

Brighton’s Ice Black Birds release their eagerly anticipated follow up to debut single ‘Ears to the Ground’ with more blues rock goodness in ‘As Birds We’d Be Fine’ and it is clear the young four piece are creating sounds ahead of what their age and experience in this industry should be letting them.

‘As Birds We’d Be Fine’ opens with pretty much just George Grinling’s guitar and Sam Denniston’s vocals before the bass and drum join in to make a Kings of Leon style sounding chorus. If you do not like your indie pop rock guitar sounds then you are probably best skipping this track from your collection but if you do, you should check Ice Black Birds out right now as they will grow in the very near future.

The B side ‘Doors‘ is well worth a mention as shows that the band can do the pure blues rock sound which will leave your foot tapping all the way through.
