Here are the young men

At least there's no "The" in front of their name. This I suppose could count as thinking for yourself in today's lemming like climate for inventive band names.

Anyway, this continues to emit the same level of quality as their last single "Bullets". Ploughing similar New Wave musical ground to that of Interpol and Bloc Party, "Munich" is a tightly focused track that's forcefully driven along by guttural lead vocals and a mesh of searing, glacial guitar chords that intertwine to fine effect (due largely to its exemplary production). And it's the baritone pitch of the vocals that shine through the most, impressively expressive they dominate the record and are a great counterweight to the flaccid emotive soggy lettuce type offerings from other bands around at the moment (you know, the indie ballad brigade). Splendid stuff.
