The debut from Girl Afraid

Windsor quartet Girl Afraid first put their mark on the industry in 2008 and spent the next two years shuffling around with line up changes while fusing together a sound of their own.

Their debut three track Ep 'Believe What Comes Next' combines elements of hardcore and rock with a slight pop touch to create three impressionable tracks. The first is the title track from the release, a fairly upbeat tune with good melodies. The second is the melodious track titled 'The Many Moods of Larry David', which brings together slow timid verses and an upbeat chorus very well. The concluding song however is the punchiest of all. 'When all is Over, We'll Just Shake Hands and Say Goodbye' develops well with vocals layered on the verses and a much tougher sound.

Girl Afraid has conjured a debut that will have people paying attention. The band will be releasing their debut album in the spring of 2011 so look out for more material coming soon.
