Solid single
"Until Then" is a solid tune for The Primary to release as a single, it has all the hallmarks of a classic and very marketable rock track, the sound here is big and expansive and even though this is one of their slower numbers they still command your attention; it's easy to imagine them playing to packed out venues as a live band.
Strangely for an American rock band, their sound is very British, they employ jangly guitar riffs and have a gently catchy melody on this track which brings to mind The Verve and Radiohead, even Coldplay; but this four piece is from Texas even if they don't sound it. Vocally Josh is very strong, slightly husky with a Thom Yorke edge at times. You can listen to this great track on their myspace along with some other, also very good, tunes.
