Box ticking alt metal

Opening with a heavy guitar riff filled with undertones of menance, Serotonin introduce us to their single 'Live And Forget'.

Lead singer Jay Taylor's voice is smooth and flowing with the tiniest hint of gravel, giving it a rock edge and making it well suited to the style that the trio are going for. Taylor maintains the melodic vocals from start to end; doing double duty as guitarist as the sounds bark through the choppy verses before switching to a more smooth and subtle feel for the chorus.

Taylor's vocals lead the music through to a guitar solo that you can just see being superb when performed live with all the swagger that's required in a song such as this.

Serotonin are not trying to reinvent the wheel and with 'Live And Forget' they tick all the boxes to give us a commercial friendly, alt metal track that will be instantly appealing to fans of the genre.
