Making their presence known...

Since this quintet formed back in 2008, they have supported the likes of Elliot Minor, Jody Has A Hit List and Aled Philips (Kids In Glass Houses) and also released a number of tunes. The new Ep titled 'The Fight We Won' consists of up-tempo and infectious songs.

There is certainly a youthful presence surrounding the release, with these four punksters creating catchy tunes, opening with a musical introduction and then progressing to 'Ordinary', a punk rock anthem with strong guitar riffs and synths. It is a little rough around the edges, but it is this element that makes it more interesting and enjoyable with harmonies yelping together. The Ep's most memorable tune is 'Yours Sincerely'. It has a You Me At Six feel to the track with a synth presence and effective harmonies.

The atmosphere that surrounds Above the Underground is one of longevity and power. This is the type of band that has the presence and sound to fill a large arena and make each individual in their presence have the time of their lives and scream the songs back in the bands direction.
