Let the music flow!

Should you be seeking new musical discoveries following the discreet departure of American rockers Orson in 2007, then cast your vision in the direction of The River 68s. The Scottish rockers sport a refreshingly jive-worthy sound that splices 1970s rock with blues, and when none other than guitar icon Slash states that he likes your sound, you know you must be doing something right!

Not since the heyday of The Darkness has a band made you so desperately want to sing along to its falsetto frills. Frontman Craig McCabe's mirroring of the guitar leads works delightfully, with brother Christian teaming up with him to share six string duties. Complemented by the sturdy bass parts of Gerry Loughrey, the band have established a style clearly influenced by legendary rock bands such as The Rolling Stones.

'Just The Way (That You Do It)' is a colourful, teasing hint of what is to come from their debut album; an eagerly anticipated LP that is unsurprisingly produced by The Darkness' very own Dan Hawkins. The River 68s may not be pushing boundaries, but their danceable sound will challenge you to remain motionless as you enjoy this flowing single.
