Transfer - Take Your Medicine
Transfer, the leaders of the San Diego music scene hit out at the UK with their second single 'Take Your Medicine'.
This track has haunting melodies, the types that will have you thinking about the song some time after it has finished. 'Take Your Medicine' grips your insides, twists them and then tugs at them with great strength refusing to let go. Although the music is all good and well, at times the vocals sound to be a little distorted alongside the music; the two not really appearing to be on the same level. On the first verse they are mysterious, which when set along with the haunting melodies are perfect, but after this seem a little unequal. They climb over the top of the music and stand their ground refusing to back down an inch, overpowering the great music that is hidden below.
Transfer has a track that plays on the mind; music verses the vocals, each having some really good aspects, and the occasional downfall. Hear it for yourself.
