Chunky Punk Rock
It's hard not to award points for presentation when you get sent a lovely 7" single to review - luckily with No Good Reason, behind the nicely packaged vinyl, complete with aesthetically pleasing cover picture and liner notes, there is a solid four track release of chunky punk rock tunes to back it all up too.
The formula here is for simply constructed tracks but all are hooky and memorable. Unfortunately due to a truly unintelligible vocal delivery and a lack of info on the disc I couldn't tell you which track was which if my life depended on it. Still, that didn't detract from the experience of these great tunes which are full of raw energy and distortion. The final tracks on both sides of the disc are the best of the bunch, showing off great riffs and some cracking melodies.
