Infinitely Addictive Sparkly Rock!

From the very first distorted guitar chords Shard are shaking off their glam-pop label to become the kings (and queen) of something a little darker, but it's all highly polished in true glam style with production from David Allen.

"Make Me Butterfly" is a whirlwind tour through driving guitar and slick vocals, rock solid riffs and all with time to spare for a deliciously tempting coda before tea. The lyrics, "I'm a weekend toy, a little urban boy, make me a butterfly", languish perfectly on the lips as a seductive style statement.

"Die Happy Picnic" is a little more poppy, but still has an edgy vibe from the cheeky keyboard sound and perfectly timed pauses. The chorus is sharp and snappy and the addition of a hard rocking guitar solo is a serious statement of intent: Shard demand to be listened to! "Le Petit Mort" is a laidback, lazy tune with some quirky, hypnotic synth noises and a catchy chorus, as well as a brief pause for some candy sweet female vocals.
