The Future Is Here

Future Ages impressed us here at R13 with their debut EP 001 EP and now, hot on the heels of playing the Yoko Ono Meltdown Festival, they bring us their sophomore EP, imaginably titled 002 EP - I think there is a theme emerging here.

The overall feel to this album is one of big sounds and noise explosions. None of your simple riffs here, this is pure enigmatic, high energy, high quality rock that just powers it's way to your brain and drowns you with pure pleasure. The vocals drift seamlessly from a fragile feel to all powerful, dominating and in your face. Very few singers can boast this quality in their repertoire.

Each of the 5 tracks offer something different, each with their own unique twist. It may be a twist too far for some people but those that love their music, and more importantly, love their music to have its own individual sound, will love Future Ages 002 EP. If there is one thing you should do today, right now in fact, is to go and listen to Future Ages.
