So are those German blokes going to rock or not?

Rammstein may possibly be cockroaches. It’s been three years since their last album; they’ve survived numerous reports about the band splitting up and yet somehow, they’ve managed to continue with their original 1993 line up, proving to all their doubters that they’re indestructible.

With a new album out on the 20th September, ‘Mein Teil’ is a fantastic way to introduce new listeners to their unique black hearted metal. It’s also a bold declaration that Rammstein are still very much alive & kicking and ready to create a hellish amount of noise in the near future by way of explosive live shows. Only cockroaches would be able to survive being anywhere near that amount of heat given off by their vast quantities of fireworks.

With the standard Rammstein keyboard work and typical black theme (for those who don’t know, ‘Mein Teil’ means ‘my tool’ in German) revolving around the story of a man being charged with cannibalism earlier this year, it’s a healthy slab of stadium metal which you can’t help but wish you could sing along to.

Also included on this single is the brilliantly sexy remix by the Pet Shop Boys. Anyone fancy some shopping?
