Inoffensive pop rock

Despite being relatively unknown within the UK mainstream, 3 Doors Down are actually a massively successful band. In the past five years, they have sold twelve million albums, and that is a hell of a lot, although their fame lies mostly over in America. I recognised them due to their catchy 'Kryptonite' hit that would appear to be one of their better-known songs.

'Let It Go' is the band's new single from their third studio album entitled 'Seventeen Days' which was released at the beginning of June. Apparently the video features the guy from the T.V show 'Desperate Housewives' if that makes it any more appealing to you.

As far as the single goes, it is a good first track to release from the album, and it sounds more like a rock ballad than a pop punk tune. 'Let It Go' is probably not as memorable as previous singles, but if you approve of inoffensive pop rock that your mother could listen to then this is a band for you.
