Cute and likeable antics from retro rockers

'Dianne' is a like a volatile mix of the Libertines and the Coral, it's got retro written all over it but strangely enough there's a modern, fresh feel underneath. So it's not exactly totally original but it's likeable, and that fact alone should guarantee that it's a dancefloor winner.

The other bonus with this EP is that it's better than previous single 'Under the City', with tunes so catchy they'd put colds to shame. 'Delivery Day' is a fine example, the sort of song that sets up home in your head and then refuses to be evicted. For a start, it comes at you like a garage-surf-rock with generous helpings of Buddy Holly thrown in for good measure and it's damn sexy.
If the previous two tracks borrowed shamelessly from the sixties and seventies, they've got nothing on the instrumental of 'Black Belt'. The sharp guitars and psychedelic riffs give a truly sixties' feel - good stuff. So, for those of you like your music retro and scuzzy, this is the EP for you.
