Bland and Lacking

"2000 Just To Destroy" has been around since 2004, but only now is it getting a worldwide release to showcase the Italian metal stylings of Biosystem55. The band already have a large following in their homeland Italy, and have gained a reputation as a gimmick free Slipknot.

Opening track 'Devour' lacks clarity and the song seems to be delivered in small jabs rather than one big punch. 'Serial Killer' is about a subject most metal bands have already covered and have done it more successfully than Biosystem55; this track is very bland and offers nothing interesting.

There are strong metal sounds throughout crossed with melodic and aggressive tones, if you're a fan of bands on the Roadrunner label it's safe to say that you will enjoy "2000 Just To Destroy".

The band have created a sound, which isn't totally their own, but there is a lot of promise, I think with a few more ideas and better production good things will come to Biosystem55.
