Get ready to party like it's 1999

Dig out those old dance compilations people, and get back in the groovy mood, prepare yourself for 'Lucy' by Jealousy. It takes you straight back to those clean-cut, starlight, funked up dance moments that populated the end of the last millennium. Think of Phats and Small and Groovejet and Spiller and this is the territory we've once again landed in.

The song borrows briefly from the 80s in one part with a big synth bouncing in, but it is generally that late nineties pop sensation sound of the summers of ecstasy and euphoria, if ya know what I mean. The plethora of remixes on the single range from early piano rave-tinged smoothness, in the form of the K-Klass Remix Radio Edit, to a totally different guitar-y and piano-y, more emotional rendering in the Original Radio Mix. There's quite a lot on offer, but it's all variations on a theme. Though if you're a fan of the poppy dance genre, it's a definite winner.
