The new Welsh anthem.
This slice of British rock is full of hooks and catchy tunes, easy on the ear and with plenty of choruses to sing along to. South Wales four piece, Kids In Glass Houses write lyrics about small town life in the valleys, but keep it upbeat by setting their stories to poppy rock that uplifts and knows how to get heavy in all the right places.
The band has been helped out by (and sounds a bit like) Lost Prophets, who've invited them on tour a couple of times; this has obviously helped to increase their fan base, but their music stands up on its own. The EPs four tracks all have really decent tunes and sound quite a lot like Incubus, especially opener 'Me Me Me' and 'Historia' and this melodic approach to their songs, combined with riffs and their honest, open lyrics should pick them up plenty more followers along the way.
