No sleep 'till Andover!

Hailing from Andover, In Darklight have a predominantly indie feel to them, but have a well-polished and highly addictive sound. Just like the fabulous band Jackson's Warehouse, In Darklight have a sound that uses the best elements of rock in and easily accessible and university educated way.

'Too Tired To Sleep' has at first listen, a slightly Manchester-sound, but updated, and, good! With chugging bass lines and melodic guitars it's a nice little song. The b-side, or song 2, to those of you too young to remember when you had to flip over the record in order to hear the second song, is called 'Time Bomb', and works well insomuch as it could easily have been the lead song. It's a semi-acoustic, mid-tempo number that is catchy as hell.

Two songs are always hard to judge a band's potential, however I would wager that an album of this sort of material would certainly add to the music scene, and could well be one of the best things to ever come out of Andover! In Darklight may not be in the shadows for too long, let's wait and see...
