New Great British hope!

We don't have much by way of R'N'B on these hard rocking pages, however we are never ones to ignore a genre, or follow the trends that radio want us to, so here we have the soulful tunes of Natalia. Born in Wales and from a multi-cultural background, Natalia was singing and dancing from the age of 6, and soon found her way into Elmhurst School where she perfected the art of singing and dancing. After an initial stint in an all girl band 'The Pussy Katz', Natalia broke free to show her own talents, and has most recently been on tour with Blazin Squad and Simon Webb.

First song, 'Thanx 4 Nothing' is a mid-tempo R'N'B number that is a mixture of Mary J Blige and Nelly Furtado. It's a song that grows on you after each listen in the way a Destiny's Child song would, with it bordering on anthem-esque. 'Digits' is slower and has more than a nod towards Christina Aguilera, and the verse sounds very much like 'Can't Hold Us Down' from the singer's great album 'Stripped'. However as there is only a minute teaser here, it's very hard to say much else about the song...

Last song, 'Don't Cha Know' is nice little number with clean production and catchy words, although the heavily synthesized background vocals sound a little dated.

So now based in London with a record deal with Upper 11 Records, and taking some time out from touring to record her debut album, Natalia could well be an instant R'n'B hit with easily accessible pop tunes that will work well in the charts as well as in the dance clubs all around the country. And let's not forget, she's pretty good to look at too...
