All Been Done Before

Ejectorseat, described by founding vocalist Peter Backler as "a collection of schoolmates, workmates and soul mates", reached ninth place on iTunes Alternative Chart with their debut 'Attack! Attack! Attack!' and will be hoping that new release 'What Do They Care' will arouse anticipation for a forthcoming "jaw-dropping album".

Despite citing a wide range of influences ranging from Metallica to Muse, Ejectorseat draw more comparisons with the electro-inide-pop of The Killers and The Bravery. 'What Do They Care' is a strong Indie-rock song infused with electro-melodies, but it's just too predictable. Right down to the way the vocalist's voice drops a note or two at the end of every other lyric. Literally.

Ejectorseat have drawn comparisons with the Arctic Monkeys due to their huge myspace following, which indeed currently numbers 25,504 friends. But there's a huge gulf between Ejectorseat and Sheffield's favourite sons – the latter are one of the only indie-rock bands to stand out from the pack, the former will merely blend. Ejectorseat are no doubt pleasurable to the ears, but it's so been done before. Over and over and over again.
