Indie band's latest.

Following on from their debut album 'Musique Magnifique' and recent UK tour with Switches, The Procession release the digital single 'Major and Minor', a breezy summer sing a long.

The 'radio power mix' of the title track has bags of energy and the thumping piano chords reminiscent of Supergrass. There's an obvious retro feel here but it is offset by a sparklingly current pounding melody effused with energy. By the chorus this single definitely sounds like a hit and if the music industry was fair then it would definitely be one. Perfect for blasting out in warm weather and singing along with, 'Major and Minor' is vastly likeable and an enjoyable listen.

B-side 'Lady Post' has a similar energy to the previous song but has a more guitar led sound. The harmonies and punchy vocals ensure it is vastly catchy once again and is equally as strong as the song chosen for the single.

I'd expect after putting in such effort to make their songs memorable that The Procession will be a band you might hear a lot more from, and I can already anticipate 'Major and Minor' becoming a live favourite.
