Your Army - My Aproval
Your Army are a female fronted four piece formed only in September 2006, yet sound as if they have been jamming together much longer. Classing their sound as alternative rock, their plan is simple – play live shows and get their music heard and gradually take over the world!
This single, 'My Approval', is upbeat and has an electric opening. Throughout there are good rhythms which to be honest, sounds more like a pop tune with a rock base than alternative rock. The instruments present give you a chance to appreciate the musical ability gone into creating this track. Vocals are surprisingly good on this track. The female rock voice of the lead singer ties in very well with the sound of the track; even if it has a soulful feel to it.
With a wide range of musical influences from Skank Anansie, Lauren Hill and Muse, there is no wonder this track grabs the attention of the listener. 'My Approval' is available through iTunes now.
