The Pigeon Detectives - Take Her Back
Hot on the heels of the success of their debut album 'Wait For Me' The Pigeon Detectives are back with a new single called 'Take Her Home'.
For those of you that have heard any tracks by The Pigeon Detectives music, especially the tracks on 'Wait For Me', you may have a problem distinguishing 'Take Her Home' from their other tracks. As usual it has a repetitive chorus and a structured verse. The opening sounds promising, almost like it will build up into a great dance along number, instead it just loops continuously. After one listen it sounds like a good sing-along number but if you listen to it a couple more times the retentiveness will slowly drive you insane.
'Take Her Home' is a witty song but it doesn't do a lot for me, and seeing as the country has gone mad for The Pigeon Detectives it's guaranteed to be another hit for the Scousers.
