The Rumblestrips
Well, this song is certainly going to impress some people. The Rumblestrips have managed to create a track that starts off quite upbeat while incorporating a trumpet and saxophone while still having some slower areas. ‘Time’ is able to knock your socks off while encouraging you to get up and dance, while swaying your hands.
The chorus is incredibly catchy with its repetition of the lines “Its only time, let it pass away" - this certainly made an impact with me and had me joining in to the best I could. The piano in this softer section gave an impact. The rugged and uneven vocals of the Razorlight front man are very reminiscent when listening to this tune, with vocals from Charlie Waller.
This song makes me want to get up, get festive and have a blast. The very musical ending is especially incredible.
