Brilliance
It’s been an incredible year for Britain’s favourite new indie-pop band, and they hope to carry that success right into the New Year with the release of their new single “Elvis Ain’t Dead”; the second single to be taken from their self-titled debut album and following the successful release of their debut single “She’s So Lonely”.
What would seem as a pretty ludicrous name for a song (and it is), on listening, turns out to be a real pleasant surprise. In an age where a lot of bands peek early, it would be a shame to see a band like this, who are clearly talented, follow suit but they’ve made sure to send out a clear and spirited message; that they aren’t going nowhere…well, not for the foreseeable future anyway. Let’s see what the New Year brings for them.
Sugar-sweet melodies, talented musicians, poppy lyrics and a great vocal-tone that is undeniably mind-blowing, Scouting For Girls, have the potential of being something immense in the future.
