Rasping and dynamic battle-rock; music for missiles and popping bullets, this is as about in your face as you can get. The guitars are guttural, the vocals merciless and the lyrics are meaningful. This band is the missing article of rock history; they are the edge that rock has needed for nearly forty years.
“We know best” is an aggressive toast to those who like to rock out. It’s got plenty of umph, strong figurative mind-blowing musical concepts and fist fills of energy. This is Indie Rock N’ Roll with a twist. The Raid are more snarling than the Sex Pistols, more musical than anyone that has come before them. One can see them doing well in 2008. There’s a very slim chance that you’ll hear anything quite like them in this century. Totally innovative, inventive and awe-inspiring.
