Unkle - Restless
Mister James Lavelle, aka, Unkle is back with his new single ‘Restless’ which has already been hailed as a standout track from the band’s current album ‘War Stories’.
As soon as I started listening to ‘Restless’ I couldn’t help but think that the vocal work sounds incredibly like Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, well, it turns out that it’s him singing. The track sees hypnotic drumming backed up blues-tinged guitars that give the track a deep and dark edge, which the heavy bassline heightens even more.
‘Restless’ is packed full of attitude and has more twists and turns than a rollercoaster. It’s the sort of track that keeps you on your toes and sucks you in, and you can guarantee that all the movers and shakers will be up dancing to it over the weekend.
