Unknown myspace marvellous musicians...Ghosts on Pegasus Bridge

Lets sum these fellas up: -

They formed in June of 2006, they have toured with bands such as You Me At Six and My Turn To Kill as well as shared the stage with Inme, SikTh, Reuben and The Hurt Process, their music ranges from fast heavy, post hardcore metal riffs, techno sounds and upbeat Pop-Punk melodies…Ghosts on Pegasus Bridge are one of the most anticipated bands to come from Southampton, or anywhere in the UK for that matter.

I first crossed paths with GOPB on myspace; you know how you run into a friend of a friend of a friend. Their musical style grasped me for being so diverse. They are first thought of as being hardcore, but listening to the first track ‘Revive’ from their recently released Ep ‘From Graves to Grace’ the band have a more dark rock styling to the track. With its fast pace, reoccurring rugged riffs and incredibly harmonious vocals ability you instantly want to hear more of what these guys can do.

If you continuing to listen to the remaining four tracks you’ll come into contact with, and fall deep into ‘The Redeemer’, an intense gathering of creative minds with a concluding piano segment to adore. Then there is ‘Chapters’, a more concentrated, powerful and darker sound than previous tracks you would have heard, ‘Silence to Selah’ with an unpredictable rhythm and ‘The City Upon A Driftwood World Part 1’ which is probably the darkest of tracks present here.

Ghosts of Pegasus Bridge are remarkably talented, they have a way to unite as one and transport a listener to another world, where you can’t escape the sound of GOPB.
