Building Blocks EP
Imagine lazy summer days, relaxing in the park, soaking up the warmth of the sun. The perfect soundtrack for this occasion? Maybe you should check out Broadcast 2000? If you hadn’t heard yet, Broadcast 2000 are an up and coming band, surely to be hot on the lips of every Indie kid around. You will in no doubt recognise them from their Single “Get up and go” which was featured on the latest E-on advert. These are some lovely songs that have been finely crafted by Joe Steer who is pretty much Broadcast 2000, except from the occasional help from his friends!
If you like the latest Coldplay album then I recommend this, there are a few similarities to be draw. Such as Joe’s voice which often enough breaks into Chris Martin territory, minimal arrangements, heart-warming vocal melodies and all with a splash of percussion. This “Building Blocks EP” is firm foundation from which Broadcast 2000 can start to grow and in the future reach heights uncharted.
