Another winner!
Opening-track-turned-single, 'Make It Mine', is California-based singer-songwriter Jason Mraz's second release from his hugely successful album, 'We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things'.
This offering had the formidable task of following up 'I'm Yours', the track that's become synonymous with Mraz during the past six months. It holds its own very well, however, with the same fresh energy that has coloured so many of Mraz's creations. Flawlessly produced and drawing on various sounds, including a trumpet solo and a brief gospel-inspired interlude, the song flows on an energetic, light beat, with lyrics that are no less honest and heartfelt for being angst-free.
A thoroughly enjoyable, get-up-and-go track, and another great incentive to try the album.
