Rock and fury.
Canadian mob Sound and Fury seem like they’ve got this rock and roll thing down because '18' is a great single; rough, raw and danceable with repetitive easy to remember sing along lyrics and a catchy tune. From the call of “one, two, three” at the start of the track to the nicely heavy screech of guitars and manic drum break at the end there is something about this tune that says party time. The vocals are appropriately shouty, but also tuneful and the riffs are fast and heavy. Sound and Fury mix a fun and danceable tune with solid song-writing and excellent vocals to produce what could well be a classic in the making. Rock and roll hasn’t sounded this fresh for years. Nicely done.
