Overreact - Violent Eyes
There seem to be more and more indie bands rolling around the music scene at the minute so it is a little refreshing when a band adds a touch of something different to the sounds they are creating. When singer/guitarist Marcus, bass player Luca and drummer Mike placed foundations in Overreact a year ago, they created a sound that mixes indie vibes with a slash of punk styling to create something different.
‘Violent Eyes’ is the debut single from the band. It is noticeable as a debut with its rough and raw attributes, mostly vocally. Even though this track sounds good, I think I prefer the acoustic version to the more indie natured one; both of which are present on this CD. Also on the CD is a track called ‘She Said’. This one has rockier vibes emitted from heavier guitars.
Both tracks, as well as the acoustic number are just the beginning of Overreact.
