Biography
Sinergy was first thought of in August 1997 by Kimberly Goss (then in Dimmu Borgir) and Jesper Strömblad (In Flames) while they were touring Europe together. It started out as only a side project and Alexi Laiho (guitar), Sharlee D'Angelo (bass) and Ronny Millanowicz (drums) were recruited. They got themselves into a Studio Fredman and recorded 'Beware the Heavens'.
Kimberly moved to Finland and got a whole new Finnish line-up after Sinergy had toured Japan - Roope Latvala (guitar), Marco Hietala (bass) and Tommi Lillman (drums). This lineup toured Europe and released a second album that was recorded at Astia Studios and mixed and mastered at Finnvox Studios. This was closely follwed by a third album back in Studio Fredman. Then Tommi left and was replaced for a short time by Mots Karlsson in Finland but he left just before they started touring again so Janne Parviainen was brought in.
