Mark Tremonti (guitar/vocals)

When Creed broke down Mark and Jason wondered off in the same direction and started forming Alter Bridge. They enlisted Brian who was a former member of Creed. But they were stuck for a singer. They contacted Myles who was formerly in the band Mayfield Four who had supported Creed in 1998. To initiate Myles into the band they all went bungee jumping off a 300ft drop.

The name comes from Mark's childhood home of Detroit where the bridge marked a boundary for all the local kids.
