White Light Parade's recent offering
Since forming in Bradford a few years back, White Light Parade has been getting their music known. They've managed to achieve two top ten singles in the UK indie charts and released a political sounding album, ‘House of Commons’.
Taken from that album comes the single ‘We Start Fires’. Written by lead singer/guitarist Danny Yates, this song kicks straight in with the sing-a-long title statement, which continues to flow through the majority of the song. This may sound repetitive, which it is, but it is also very catchy and you cannot help but mumble along. This is a very guitar rock based tune and will likely do well.
The second track, ‘Rebellion Call’ features Itch from the King Blues and isn’t on the album. Written by Danny’s brother Jono, it isn’t as hard on the ears as the previous song, but still a good listen. Listen out as there is going to be much more heard from White Light Parade in the coming months.
