Stompingly good
Standing out from the crowd, Not Advised gives us strong pop rock hooks and bouncy choruses on their debut EP 'Fight For This'. Perfectly designed to sing along to and just made for a live performance these are tracks to get you moving.
The five boys from Hampshire work well together and produce a depth of sound that draws you in. From the opening riff of 'Red Light Situation', a song about a red engine management light that comes on in their van, through to the final chant in 'The World's Not Ready', Not Advised keep your ears pricked and your foot tapping.
Vocalist Jim Thomas's voice contrasts nicely with Jack Fairbrother and Ash Oliver's guitars, especially in 'The A.R.K' bringing the perfect blend of driving force and resting space. Solid bass from Greg Day rounds out the fullness of their sound, while drummer Andy White is rock solid showing that a perfectly timed beat, as heard on 'Right Now', always keeps the flow on track.
This stompingly good EP is out September 14 and the world is ready for this.
Get it, get up, get dancing, I advise you to fill your day with some Not Advised as soon as you can.
