Dance music is probably some of the worst kinds of music to review as it usually consists of repetition and annoying beats and ‘Mega’ by Count and Sinden is no exception.
Skipping straight to the edited version of the single to get the raw elements before the remixing begins was probably the best thing to do as it prepares a listener for what the other two versions have waiting in store. This one is a five and a half minute long rumble of dance beats and electronic waves of sound that repeat constantly for the entire duration. Then there is some bloke repeating the word ‘MEGA’ more times than I cared to count. It would be difficult to describe the other two versions of this song, a club and dub mix, as worse or better than the edited version. The only way to illustrate them is just as annoying as the original.
