Rock trio Helsinki Seven unveil the first single from their self titled debut album and they’ve chosen two great tracks to release; ‘Waiting For A Hero’ is a bouncy, catchy, rock tune, melodic and with a really memorable main riff, they could really have picked any track from the album to release (as there wasn’t a dull moment to be had) but this one really does the trick in selling you the band and making you want to hear more from them. ‘People Without Faces’ is another cracking tune; nice chunky guitars ease you in and then another of their catchy and warm melodies kicks things up a notch. Two excellent, energy fuelled and memorable tunes from a British rock band that really deserves a lot more attention; check out the album for more great tunes and show some support for this home grown talent.
